Hello! My name is Mai. I'm from Kyoto, Japan. These are some of the most popular recipes in Japan. They are healthy and easy to make. Most of them take 20 minutes or less to prepare. Itadakimasu! (Let's eat!)

Very good!
But mine came out too dry - my rice cooker is small. Maybe next time I will try it with less rice, 2 cups instead of 3 cups. And I didn't wash the rice, could that have added to the problem?
Do you still have to wash rice these days? What does it do to the rice? Would it have made it more moist?

Thanks!
I'm looking forward to try other recipes!

I just found your website and I love all these new recipe ideas! I love mushrooms and wish I could find these varieties in our markets! Enoki and Shiitake are the only ones I can find, and the Enoki is a rare one.
