Nitsuke is a Japanese word that means “to boil with spices and add flavor.” Thick and meaty, itoyori is a white fish perfect for this recipe. However, you can use a different white meat fish to make this recipe if you cannot find itoyori.
Yield: 2 servings
Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 1/2 itoyori (cut in two)
- 4g (about 0.15 oz) ginger (thinly cut)
Preparation
- Mix all spices together in a sauce pan with 1/2 cup water
- Add itoyori (or other fish), cover, and cook for 15 mins on low
- Serve! (So easy!)
